Questions About Price, Purchase Process and Installation
1. What is the process of purchasing and selecting the right stair lift?
Choosing a stair lift requires attention to quality, design and reliability. The purchasing process is divided into three main steps:
Step 1: Initial Contact and Information
Based on the description of your stairs, we direct you to the right type of lift (straight or curved stairs). We answer questions about the model, function and initial cost.
Step 2: Free Study and Visit to Your Space
A scheduled FREE visit by an Access Engineering technical consultant is required. We examine in detail the technical characteristics of your staircase (length, turns, space configuration) and discuss the differences in single or double rail, to arrive at the ideal solution.
Step 3: Final Selection & Assurance of Terms
All terms for protecting your investment are discussed in detail, including the final price, low maintenance costs and Lifetime Warranty (on stair lifts).
2. What is the final price and why is there a difference between the models?
The final price is fully personalized and depends on the type of staircase and additional features. The difference in prices is mainly due to:
- The **type of the staircase** (curved staircases are more expensive due to the customized rail).
- The **type** (seat, platform or vertical lift).
- The **quality of the materials** (Access Engineering offers top quality from Europe/America).
Although the initial investment is higher due to the superior quality, we ensure the lowest maintenance cost on the market.
3. Is a building permit or major alterations to the building required?
In most cases, a building permit or major alterations are NOT required. Stair lifts and shaftless vertical lifts are designed for quick, clean installation and fit seamlessly into existing space, even in narrow hallways or stairs.
